Diners cherish the generous portions and vibrant flavors throughout the menu—especially the lamb gyro, which many proclaim as 'outstanding.' The chicken souvlaki shines with bright lemon potatoes, making it a perfect choice. The atmosphere captures an authentic Greek vibe, with Greek music enhancing the experience. Patrons appreciate the availability of vegetarian options as well as healthier choices on the menu, ensuring there's something for everyone. The friendly staff adds a personal touch to dining, making customers feel at home. Plus, the free street parking only adds to the ease of visiting this local gem.

Most Disliked

A few diners have noted that while the food is fantastic, the menu can be overwhelming at times due to the expansive offerings. Some have expressed frustration with the dual price listing for cash and credit, finding it slightly inconvenient. Additionally, as a newer establishment, limited weekend crowds may deter some from experiencing the lively atmosphere that can often accompany dining out. Despite these minor complaints, most issues do not overshadow the overall positive dining experience.

Absolutely love this restaurant. The food was fabulous as always. The lamb gyro was outstanding. The chicken souvlaki with lemon potatoes was bright and flavorful. We had to take baklava for dessert to go. Highly recommend!!!!

TZATZIKI 10/10! Can't go wrong w/ a traditional gyro or gyro platter (order w/ the lemon potatoes)! Oh my God, the food was absolutely delicious here!!!! There was a young man who helped my husband and I out and he was so kind and genuine and made our experience here incredibly wholesome 💕 We love Greek food, and we love spotting out the best spots and this for sure is one of them! Please go show this restaurant some love b/c their vibes are great and the food is amazing. *Plus, they actually play Greek music, have the best Greek pictures, and have an overall comfy and welcoming decor

Occupying the old Skorpios space on New York Ave, this small diner has a giant menu featuring the expected lunch and dinner specialties. Servings are generous and the food is tasty. Having just opened, the crowds haven't arrived yet so it's a good time to try this cute place. Menu has a cash and credit price which i find annoying

A place we stop at every time we ride to huntington. Moussaka was divine. Lemon chicken soup hit the spot right before the meal. Pita with tons of tzatziki sauce (unique flavor delicious). Rice was fluffy and tasty, greek salad was balanced and satisfying. Their lemon potato side was just the ticket, sharable and scrumptious. We will be back.

It seems like half of these reviews are for Sunnyside diner, and half are for Skorpio’s Greek. So I want to be clear that I’m reviewing the diner. Very nice little spot. Good food, generous portions, friendly staff. And surprisingly dead on a weekend morning, so you won’t wait for a table

Skorpio's brings Greece to you right here on Long Island. Opa!!! The food here is both plentiful and delicious. The artfully painted walls depict the beauty of the islands in the Aegean and Ionian Seas. Tonight we started with Saganaki. The cheeses were tasteful, and cherry tomatoes roasted delivered an addictive sweetness. For dinner, I enjoyed their Gyro sandwich. It was so big; half went home. My husband opted for the dinner special of Sauteed Soft Shell Crabs in a Francaise sauce. He remarked the crabs were a good size and prepared perfectly. Lemonina, our server, was attentive, pleasant, and provided excellent service as was Nicole, who displayed masterful talent in public-relations. So when a desire to visit the Mediterranean arises and you can not make it to the airport, drive to Skorpio's in Huntington. Then head north and enjoy the views of the Long Island Sound. While you can't make a good comparison between the two, you can do takeout here and enjoy the sunset. Opa!
